Alaska Peace Dividends

Peace Corps volunteers from Alaska serving overseas for two years are currently not eligible for the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend. At one time they were but they were removed the eligible list several years ago. There was legislation this past session being considered to REINSTATE Peace Corps volunteers from Alaska on the PFD list, but it did not pass. To find out more about this issue and what you can do to help go to the akpeacedividends.org web site.
